Our story
The company has originally been founded in 2000 in the Netherlands with a strong focus on SAP process automation and procure-to-pay. Avelon Netherlands has reached market leadership for procure to pay/OpenText VIM.
In 2011, Pascal Decock founded Avelon Belgium with the support of Avelon Netherlands. A new branch was born.
In 2016, Wouter Van Peteghem joined and Avelon Belgium became an independent company. At that time, Avelon started to focus on SAP Master Data Governance and has reached market leadership in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg) region for what concerns SAP MDG projects. Next to local presence, Avelon is frequently asked for emergency support or greenfield SAP MDG implementations in countries like France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Switzerland, the US, Turkey, Brazil, Norway, …
In 2023, Avelon Belgium decided to have an extended strategic orientation program where we could make important decisions and set the foundation for further qualitative growth which fits the company's DNA. We involved employees, customers, prospects, partners and advisors in this journey where we were guided by Starring Jane as a partner.
The outcome made us decide that we should do what our passion is all about: fit-to-purpose SAP Master Data management, with the goal of 100% Master Data Quality, once and for all, together with our customers!
In 2024, Alluvion was born, with a strong focus on SAP Master Data Management. Same company, same culture, same people, same DNA, ... but sharper and more focused!
