What is Dashboard?

The SimpleMDG Dashboard is a comprehensive and intuitive graphical interface that brings together all essential business information, metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in one visual environment. This screen is directly presented to users logging into the SimpleMDG solution and provides a clear and immediate overview of master data management performance.

Role-Based Dashboards

Each role in SimpleMDG has access to its own personalized dashboard. This means that Requestors, Approvers, Stewards and Steward Managers will only see the KPIs and analytics relevant to their responsibilities. Users can customize their layout and portlets to match their needs and create a personalized experience that reflects the most critical metrics for their day-to-day work.

Admin mode

Users with administrative authorization can enable Admin Mode. When active, any changes made to a dashboard of a specific role become visible to all users within that role. This feature ensures consistent KPI definitions and layout structures across the organization while maintaining flexibility for individual customization where appropriate.

KPIs Overview

The SimpleMDG Dashboard provides a rich library of preconfigured Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) designed to monitor the health and efficiency of business process. These KPIs are organized into several categories to give users insights into performance, compliance and data quality.

Data Fetching and Processing

Change request data comes directly from both the SimpleMDG application itself and the target SAP system. Based on this connection, the data is updated, based on a schedule, defined in the SimpleMDG configuration. 

Dashboard Transport Management

Administrators can export and import complete dashboard configurations to maintain consistency across environments or to create backups. This functionality allows predefined dashboard settings such as layouts, KPIs, colors and thresholds to be transferred seamlessly between systems. As a result, organizations can easily replicate dashboards for different roles or restore previous setups without having to rebuild them manually.
